Miki Masuda

I was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. I currently live in New York and I'm studying web design / motion graphic / 3D amination. In 2010, I graduated from university.

I created this website for my school project. In a web design class, I needed to create a website using HTML and CSS. Since I have so much information from my road trip, I decided to create the road trip website.

Actually, I bought my first computer, when I came to America . I just wanted to use it for sending e-mails to my family and had never used a computer before that. I did not know anything about computers or the Internet but for some reason, I was drawn to computer software. I bought books and practiced every day. Now I am able to use most of the famous software titles such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dream Weaver, Flash, Fire Works, Visual Basic.NET, Quark, Word, and Excel. I'm also currently learning Maya and I can't wait for my skill level to improve on those very complicated programs.

My goal is to become a graphid/web designer, motion graphics and do 3-D drawing and animation. Hopefully, I can acquire the skills that I will need to make my dreams and ambitions a reality. I still have to learn so much more. Someday, I hope I could proudly say "I am a graphic/web designer".Until the day comes I have to keep learning technologies.
